This 13 Day Cairo Nile Cruise and Sharm El Sheikh Travel Package to Egypt will take you to rural Egypt on the Nile and to the shores of the Red Sea. See the Pyramids and Sakkara. Cruise the Nile for 4 days and then relax in Sharm El Sheikh before returning to see Old Cairo and the Museum. In Sinai optional excursions into the desert and mountains are available.

Tour Itinerary

Your Egypt tour begins at your chosen hotel in Cairo. Upon arrival to Cairo Int. Airport, you will be met with our English-speaking representative who will help and assist you in all formalities. Transfer to your hotel and overnight in Cairo.

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Then you will be met by our English Egyptologist tour guide to begin your first-day tour by visiting the Pyramids of Giza “Khufu, Khafre & Menkaure”, the place the greatness has been embodied in three pyramids with a limestone statue of Sphinx guarding the whole area.

Then proceed to one of our local restaurant to have your lunch. After that, you will proceed to the city of Sakkara, the place you will be so excited by exploring The Step Pyramid of king Djoser. This pyramid has a very nice story when king Djoser asked his chief Architect Imhotep to create something different so that the king could be buried. As a result, the well-known Architect creates the Step pyramid, which surprised the king so much since it was considered to be a new achievement in this period.

Later, you will be transferred to Giza railway station to board the sleeper train to Aswan-dinner will be served on board. Overnight inside your compartment.

After breakfast on board, the train, Luxor and Aswan Travel representatives will meet you at Aswan train station, and then you will be transferred by a private A/C car to your Nile Cruise ship for embarkation in Aswan before lunch.

 

Later on, you will join your Egyptologist tour guide to discover the great city of Aswan, including The High Dam, which has been erected by the Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 AD to protect Egypt from the Nile flood.

 

After that, you will enjoy cruising on the Nile River by a motor boat till reach Agilika Island, the place you will visit the Temple of Philae, which was erected during the Gaeco-Roman period and was dedicated to goddess Isis (mother of god Horus).

 

Finally, you will be escorted to visit one of the marvelous sightseeing in Aswan, The Unfinished Obelisk, which was made out of red granite and was dedicated to the god Amun Ra. After finishing your day tour, you will get back to your ship. Dinner on board and overnight in Aswan.

After that, you will join your Egyptologist tour guide to visit one of the most fantastic temples in Egypt, the Temple of Kom Ombo, and the place the two gods Sobek & Haroeris were worshipped for a while. Get back to your ship and enjoy your lunch on the sun deck, watching the unique landscape of the great river Nile.

 

Afternoon, enjoy chariot riding to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, which is considered to be one of the most well-preserved temples in Egypt. After finishing your tour, you will be transferred back to your ship. Afternoon, you will enjoy relaxing on board your ship. Dinner will be served on board. At night Egyptian Folkloric Show party will be operated by staff on board.

Breakfast on the Nile cruise. After that, you will begin your magical tour in Thebes, the sacred land by exploring the wet bank of Luxor including the Valley of the Kings, which considers the royal cemetery of the Theban kings and rulers of ancient Egypt, and the place where our Pharaohs were buried.

 

After that, you will proceed to visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari. This temple is considered one of the most fantastic examples of Architecture in ancient Egypt because it was totally carved inside the mountain. At the end of the tour, you will visit Colossi of Memnon, which is belonging to king Amenhotep III. After that, you will return to your ship to have your lunch.

 

Later on, you will enjoy your tour discovering the East Bank of Luxor, including the most fantastic Karnak Temples Complex, which is considered to be the biggest complex construction in the world covering an area of a hundred.

 

Finish your beautiful tour in the Temple of Luxor, built by one of the kings of the 12th dynasty & completed by the well know king Ramses II. After finishing your day tour, you will be transferred back to your Nile cruise for Dinner and overnight on the Cruise.

The 480 square kilometers protected area lies where the Gulf of Suez meets the Gulf of Aqaba in Sinai’s southern extremity. The arid desert terrain of sand dunes, gravel plains, fossilized corals, and the Granite Mountains is home to a number of rare mammal species: Dorcas gazelle, Nubian ibex, and red fox. Easier to spot are the resident birds like terns, herons, gulls, and ospreys. Thousands of white storks pass through Ras Mohammed each year, heading south during September/October and back north during April/May. About 85 flora species live in the park, including mangroves. You will start your Alexandria city tour by exploring one of the main sources of knowledge in the ancient world, “The Alexandria Library”. The site of which is the original site of the old Pharaoh. Later on, you will be transferred to have your lunch meal at a local restaurant.

 

After lunch, you will proceed to visit The Roman Amphitheatre, which is considered to be one of the most famous monuments belonging to the Greco-Roman period. Continue your Alexandria city tour by visiting Pompey’s pillar, which was erected in 292 AD.
